Terms & Conditions for Pentlebay Black Friday 2024 competition
1. The promoter is: Pentlebay Clothing, registered address Pentlebay Clothing, PO Box 279, Royston, SG8 1EZ.
2. Employees of Pentlebay Clothing, their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition shall not be permitted to enter.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
4. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via Instagram or Facebook.
5. The closing date for entries will be Thursday 28th November 2024 at 11pm.
6. The rules of the Instagram and Facebook competition and the winning prize are as follows: Entrants must leave a comment on the competition post on either Pentlebay's Instagram page or Facebook page. For Instagram, the entrant must tag a friend in the comment. For Facebook, the entrant must leave the comment '@highlight' which will notify the entrant's followers. There will be 1 winner. The prize for the winner is £100 in credit towards any clothing available on pentlebayclothing.com.
7. We reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition without notice for any event outside the promoter's control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.
8. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prize is not transferable.
9. The winner will be chosen on Friday 29th November 2024.
10. The winner will be selected at random with their name posted on Instagram and Facebook, and we will, if possible, message the winner via the relevant social media channel. The winner must contact us or respond within one week of the competition closing (by 5th December 2024), or another winner will be selected. The winner will be asked to provide their email address which they will use to order on pentlebayclothing.com. The £100 credit will be applied to this email address and will be available to use against purchases on pentlebayclothing.com.
11. The winner must place their first order on pentlebayclothing.com within 6 months of the competition closing date (by 28th May 2025) otherwise the credit assigned to their email address will expire. The credit can be used over multiple purchases. After the first purchase, the credit will then have a 2-year timeframe with which to be used, otherwise any remaining credit will expire and cannot be used for purchases on pentlebayclothing.com.
12. All purchases made by the winner using the credit from the competition are subject to our conditions of sale, including refunds and returns of products bought using a credit balance.
13. Our decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. The winner agrees to the use of their name and any images they may supply with the prize to be used in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant's prior consent.
15. The winner's name will be available 28 days after the closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: Pentlebay Clothing, PO Box 279, Royston, SG8 1EZ.
16. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
17. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
18. This promotion is in no way sponsored, associated with, endorsed or administered by Facebook, Instagram or any other social network. You are providing your information to Pentlebay Clothing and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following privacy policy.
